SOS Small Business Relief Fund – Winston-Salem
The Flywheel Foundation has created an emergency SOS Grant Fund for Forsyth County restaurants and retailers that are struggling to remain in business due to the prolonged pandemic restrictions and the current surge. The fund will receive donations through April 30, 2021.
The Foundation is partnering Greater Winston-Salem Inc. to run the application and selection process for the grants through the Small Business Relief Grant program established earlier in 2020.
How to Donate:
Donations will be accepted in any amount by PayPal, by check or by wire transfer. If you wish to make a donation by wire transfer, please email our Foundation Executive Director, Adrian Smith at email@example.com for routing instructions.

Qualified applicants will meet the following criteria:
• Located in Forsyth County, locally owned
• In business prior to January 1, 2019
• Have a brick-and-mortar storefront, all retail, goods and services
• Have 5 or fewer locations
The applications will be received at the Small Business Relief Fund website and applications will open after we have raised over $100,000 in SOS Funding.
Applications will be reviewed by a diverse selection committee through the Greater Winston-Salem Inc. Small Business Relief Grants program and awards will be based on need and impact.
